I'm new here, So i hope you dont mind if i ask some questions. I really don't get how long a day in airline empires is. i read the manual, but that just confused me even more. My second question is what the first aircraft I buy should be. Should I get another Beech 1900D, or save for another jet?
Thanks!

Well answeredWell one day in the game is one hour in real life, and monthchange is every 24 Hours... And I advice you to start with 2 Beeches and expand that till 4 or something.. Then order small to medium Turboprops (Dornier 328, Q100/200, EMB-135(ok is engine but still) and then Bigger turboprops (Saab 2000, Q400).. Then keep improving

Remember if you just started you can save and order 2 1900Ds and double your DOP so you will pay the money back much faster than just waiting to save it all.....

Yes they did, just not that often and plenty anymore.the times of half priced beeches are gone...actually they never came....
You're just not fast enough.
Some examples I've seen, but was unable to buy:
Frame #3899, beech for 3,000,000 sold by Bavi Airlines, probably bought by flyhighh [sic] because that airline put it up for sale moments later
Frame #358, beech for 3,000,000 sold by CityLynx USA, probably bought by player 357 (now gone)
Frames #7217 and #7218, J-31 for 1,693,885 sold by fiat air, moments later sold and for sale again, by "Geesh What A Struggle".
There's lots more.
But maybe you should be happy you can't find them. If you buy a lot of these airplanes, moderators say "I don't know how you do it and therefore you must be cheating", "I spend much time in AE and cannot buy such cheap aircraft so why can you" and stuff alike.
Yes, the problem is not buying them, the problem is the moderators cannot buy them anymore. That is quite clear now. And they get away with it because the AE staff lets them.
It set me back one A319-100 and 10,000,000 in cash, resulting in some 600 positions down the list. That was for buying 6 beeches at 50% and one at 67%
If you don't want to do the math: that's less than 19.6 M profit and more than 53 M fine. Plus being unable to do anything but sit and wait for almost a week, resulting in further damage.

A moderator works on the forum, not ingame. Lets make clear that distinction.

I know not everybody can spend lots of time on the game. That does imply you have less chance to correct route fares when they go down, less chance to buy cheap planes and probably more disadvantages. This is a choice. Anybody spending more time is not automatically a cheater...I'm on dial up and i have a rigorous high school schedule (bout 5 hrs of homework every night) what you want from me!??!

Ack. A game-moderator, anti-cheat staff. It's just a hat.A moderator works on the forum, not ingame. Lets make clear that distinction.
Point is: anti-cheat staff is/are players as well. Direct competition. Coloured views (be it for game reasons or just personal). And nobody available for disputes.

I saw that show, 50 Things To Do Before You Die. I would have thought the obvious one was "Shout For Help"
Cats have nine lives. Which makes them ideal for experimentation.

Highspeed... keep your views of the Cheat Staff to yourself. This is not the place to air them...
Unfortunately there is no place to air them until all the kinks are worked out. Its when the system works about 95% when we live with it well.

It's worse. In the forum you're told to contact Anti-Cheat staff in private. I now have sent five unread, and ten unanswered messages.
It's not just the Anti-Cheat Staff I'm worried about. Any system that deals with punishment, except Guantanamo Bay and AE, have independend people to turn to in case of unfair rulings.
Some person was quite upset when he thought I questioned his honesty (and I even didn't). This same person should understand how upset I get when I am called a cheater.

Wow... We're in the same league as Guantanamo Bay eh? If ONLY i could arrest you and lock you in a cell without charge... Perhaps then we'd get some peace from your whining...It's worse.
