Does anybody faced the same problem on chrome. I notice that in the last few weeks, it take almost 2 minutes to load a page on Chrome.

Same issue on Firefox and Safari. The AE servers crap themselves periodically at random intervals. Sometimes it loads pages slowly for a few minutes before returning to normal, sometimes it completely stops loading pages for hours at a time. It has been happening for at least two years now.

It happens before here and there. But this time, the page to set up route refuses to load at all. Now it took around 11 minutes before a single page is fully loaded.

Anyway, I switched to Chromium and it works amazingly. Page load in split second now. I highly recommend it instead.
I checked the memory usage per tabs on Chrome, it stands around 400mb per tab. On Chromium, it only took them around 150mb per tab. So that might explained it a bit.

Same issue for me on Firefox.

Often, the "new route" page and especially the "used aircraft" pages will not load at all, just giving a blank screen.

Yeah, I switched to Chromium completely now. It's basically Chrome Lite. No problem whatsoever now.

That's funny, because the whole reason I went Chrome -> Firefox was because people said AE ran better. I'll give Chromium a try.

No improvement on Chromium for me.

Hmm, that's weird, for me firefox is just as slow as normal chrome.
The other trick I use is to disable image on this website. I notice improvements, but the downside would be the fact that all the images would be blocked.
