Back again

Australis has commenced operations yet again.... ;)

This time, Australis has decided to begin at Paris Charles de Gualle airport however, the airline has plans to enter other airports within the next 2-3 months as more efficient and bigger planes start entering the fleet.

Also, briefly, Australis has signed a contract with Saab for its initial Saab 2000, which will join the fleet next month. The Saab 2000 will increase capacity and replace a beech from current routes while Australis tried to go to an all-Saab fleet in the near future.

More news soon...

au revoir de Paris!! :D

Australis this month received its 3rd Saab 2000, from Saab Industries, which is quite an achievement considering that the airline only 2 months ago was flying small, Beecn 1900D aircraft from Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The Saab 2000 have provided Australis with a strong footing @ Paris, with its initial flights been an overwhelming success and passengers enjoy the Australis feeling .

The plans for the next year or so for Australis will be to acquire more Saab 2000s and hopefully also order an initial batch of Bombardier's Dash 8-400, which the CEO of Australis believes are "cheap to operate, great fuel economy and enjoyable for passengers".

au revoir de Paris!! ;)

Australis this month received its first Bombardier Dash 8-400 aircraft, along with another 2 more Saab 2000s.

Australis has made it clear that it would focus on acquiring, both types of prop aircraft due to the airline's need of more capacity to open new routes across Europe from its initial bases at Paris, Madrid and London.

At this present, Australis has no plans for acquiring jet aircraft, but has made it clear that it has plans in place to order the aircraft it wishes as the time comes to do so. At this moment, it is assumed the B737-900 and B757-200 are been looked upon to be the first jet aircraft in the fleet.

But until then, we will just have to wait and see...

au revoir de Paris!! ;)

Australis today received its 10th Saab 2000 from the manufacturer, as the airline continues to grow and expand across western europe from its initial focus cities.

Not only that, Australis this month served its 20th city, which is quite an achievement considering only a few months back the airline was only servicing 3 airports from Paris at the time. The Australis management team seem very happy with the current expansion of Australis and are hoping to add more new cities from its focus cities soon.

And in brief news to end, the CEO of Australis has been spotted talking to Boeing and Airbus representatives, with the purpose of reaching an agreement for new jet aircraft, which will surely come when the CEO of Australis deems so.

More news soon...

au revoir de Paris!! ;)

We expect the first A320 to arrive next month and hopefully, 1-2 every month after that. We are currently getting everything ready so we are prepare for when the A320 does finally arrive and the initial problems dont affects us a lot."

Also, the CEO of Australis also mentioned that the airline will continue to acquire more prop aircraft as it deemed necessary to expand into new markets and continue growth while waiting the arrival of these new jets.

I don't know how you do it, but I don't see any of those 10 A320s in Airbus' orderbook. Are you dreaming of days ahead :P? Did you just want to shock the competition :)? Or did you convert the order to A319s and 10 out of the eleven that are currently on order are ordered by your feeder airlines... :D?

I dont know, but it is that hard to read and imagine what im hinting at for this proposal?

Btw, its just a press release. I dont want to be making a post a day saying "oh look, i just got an A320". I just though making a nice big statement, that will surely be read over 3-4 days and by the end of that time, i will surely have around 8-10 A320s in my fleet.

:)

[size=+2] The Saab Connection..

Australis this month received its 20th Saab, which is quite an achievement considering that the airline only began operations only 11 months ago and is already one of the biggest airlines currently in Europe.

"Its quite ironic that the Saab 2000 has become such a good aircraft for the routes that we are operating currently. The speed and capacity of the aircraft have allowed us to fly certain routes which have helped us grow and expand the way we have and doing it knowing passengers enjoy flying with us.

We expect to keep these Saab 2000 for sometime still. We expect to possibly add a couple more to the current fleet, before we fully focus on acquire bigger, jet aircraft. These bigger jets will hopefully open up more opportunities for us across the world".

More news soon..

The Arrival...

Australis earlier this month and without much fanfare, received its first A330-300 , which was a shock to employees and the media alike, as no news of this order had been discussed about from the CEO of Australis or Airbus.

"We are very happy with the first A330-300 that we have received. The initial batch of A330-300s will allow us to operate some initial services to the US while still primarily focus on our European network.

However, the choice of the A330-300 was due to its superb economics and passenger capacity, among other things. It has plenty of range for the routes we have envisaged and thus, we expect to order more of them in the future."

Here are some shots from Paris' Charles De Gaulle airport where the A330-300 made its maiden flight to, from Toulouse, before heading to London.

Paris, City of Love and Australis!!

The CEO of Australis announced today that Paris Charles De Gaulle airport has become the first hub for the airline, in its intent to become a major player not only in Europe, but across the globe. Currently, Australis is the No.1 airline @ CDG with 21% marketshare and growing everyday.

"Today, we announce our first hub to the world, especially Europe. Paris has become a strong focus for our airline, in that we have grown quite rapidly and successfully. This is only the start here at Paris, as we expect more glamorous and important things to occur while we continue to grow and succeed.

Though, this is only part of our greater plan for Australis. Over the coming months, Australis will be displaying its cards and insuring its future success by doing numerous things across Europe and around the world. We will let u know once plans come to ahead, but for the moment, u will just have to wait."

The incredible duo...

Australis today announced that it has finally built and completed its own independent terminal @ Paris CDG, to go alone side its initial terminal @ London Heathrow.

The Paris CDG terminal was build to use 40 gates, with further extensions possible, which will depend on what Australis has planned at Paris. The terminal was build with ease at mind, allow passengers to connect with smoothness to Australis flight coming from all over the world within one, efficient terminal.

"Today is another glorious chapter in our ever-present history. This new terminal will open us to more opportunities across the world and explode certain advantages that we have gained as a result. We believe that passengers will appreciate Australis for providing them with a terminal that will improve their flying experience, just fellow passengers @ London.

However, it doesnt stop there ladies and gentlemen. We, at Australis, have plans for 2 more terminals to be built, however both will be built once we determined it to be necessary and at a right time for us. Currently, we will primarily focus growing Paris and London for a couple of months while we evaluate of strategic path."
