Berlin, Germany
Just yesterday Air Germany publicly announced there first press release to the public since late 2005.
Starting with some warm words, the CEO of Air Germany unveiled there newest project, there new look!, After a few months of designing (not really ) Air Germany produced there new Airline Logo to the public!
The new style of the German flag with the airline's name across it shows Air Germany's Relation to the German Public, Air Germany employs around some 100+ people providing business and economic growth to the Historic City of Berlin. On the bottom right you see the 3 characters, 3RA which is an abreviation for the Airlines World Famous Airline Alliance, Third Rock Alliance (3RA), this shows it's new commitment towards the alliance that has helped Air Germany through rough times.
An another note Air Germany announced that it will be ordering 2x Beech 1900D's to start it's new fleet off! They will be flying to neighbouring EU country's and In the future will help within the German Domestic shuttle routes. Air Germany has already taken permission from the German Transport Government to be able to fly in ALL German City's they wish to, and they also got the permission to fly internationally from there new hub of Berlin (SXF).
Formerly Air Germany flew all around Europe as a "Holiday" Styled airline that flew to major Holiday Destinations, such as sunny Spain and Beautiful Egypt, They flew a fleet of Airbus A320-200's and A321-200's accompanied by there huge Q400 fleet that maintained a strong presence throughout the European Union, Today Air Germany has the same goals and objectives but a new attitude! Hamburg, Germany
Today at Hamburg, Germany.
a new plane landed on behalf of Air Germany, the ATR-42.. thanks to some deal's with an alliance Ally, based half a world away in Shanghai, China. Metro Airways sold a ATR-42 for a cheap price that we could not ignore!
The new ATR has opened our latest route from our base in Berlin to France!
Air Germany is showing some intrest into the planes of ATR, though they have dismissed rumours that they will become and ATR only fleet, especially with the Bombardier Q400 getting closer by the day to take over Air Germany's still young Beech 1900D fleet.
"This is another step towards keeping German air travel easy, as it should be" , said CEO Thomas Auer.
Air Germany has been preparing for the coming a new fleet member for months so far, this has answered our prayers for now, though the Q400 fleet is for sure on their way shortly.
