Trust me, starting in Africa the worst thins one could do to their airline in AE...well, actually it's second worst. $0 routes are worse
Well, they'll probably say no to new cities...and to complement Glennos, yes, Antarctica is better

Australia, Africa, Middle East and South America are all no good places to start at all. Be happy if you can make at least 2 mil DOP once the game has advanced far into year 8 or something like that. Quite frankly, the only places to build a strong airline are the US and Europe, and Asia to a lesser extend. This is basically all due to a lack of gates in those regions, combined with relativily small airports compared to the ones in US/Europe/Asia.

Yea but what im saying is in reality there should be more options to airlines starting in africa, particularly south africa.
The only route you can have if you start in Johannesburg is JNB-CPT(Cape Town). and its near max range for the B1900D. You can only get like 24k DOP starting out, or around 55k DOP when you eventually get a Q400.
There are a lot more places in africa with high travel demand than the ones that are in the game, hopefully we can get some of them in next round.

You are right InterAir, things would be more balanced with more gates (not complaining). There is lots of regional traffic around Brazil and Argentina but theres not enough airports to simulate it, also between CR and Panama at least 40 daily flights in real life (738s, A320s) and Colombia. But we'll have to wait until next version and other stuff.

That's true, Africa is empty, but it's not as stupid as starting up in ANC with two J-31s:) like I did when I first tried

Lol nice...least you tried to stick true to your name though....cause people who start up in a different place than their airline name says always tends to make me a bit angry.....just a bit.......(Tunisia Air)
