So just to see what would happen I decided to change all the pay in the human resource tab to the lowest possible setting... which is 7$.

I guess I will find out myself in a game month or so ...but why wait when I can ask here...

What will happen?  And what do you pay your employees?

I do wonder, do you deem this a necessary reply to the topic on hand, or you one word answers to any topic on hand, a quick fireway to increase your post count? Because i will be happy to oblige with certain actions in that regards, if this keeps on going.

And in regards to the OP question, you will find that you employees will be unhappy and affect morale, thus affect your airline reputation mostly. I have mostly in the past, paid my employees the bare minimum wage and still make huge profits and get 100% LF, so to be honest, it feels a bit cosmestic.

Someone assumed I knew I about this but I did not at the time. I was actually paying extra to keep training costs down :(

I wish there were a pinned list of broken features... sure we all wish this wasnt broke... but for the new player it would be nice to start on a closer to even ground.

I generally increase wages to keep the attrition rate at/below 1%, I know it's unnecessary but whatever

I usually keep salaries up in order to better my reputation.

Same as well. If you can't make a profit without lowering wages, then lowering wages isn't really the best option.

One of the things I like about AE is that it has room for a lot of different kinds of players to coexist. Some want to model this or that in a roleplaying way and some want to compete over profit but everyone can enjoy it at the same time, mostly...

One thing I dislike about AE is that the keys to achieving parity of daily earnings with other competitive players are not easy to find or placed together. As someone who enjoys competition and challenges, I would want everyone new to know about these things right away in hopes they will provide enjoyable competition.

It has effect on on time performance. In AE's world high morale workers are better at turning planes around on time.

It doesn't matter unless you're chasing reputation.

Well if I made $7 an hour I certainly wouldn't give a s*** about doing my job well.

I pay my employees excessively except for executives who make minimum wage.

Your freakin decisions affect your route frequencies - how many frequencies you want to add. Not how much you pay your employees... AE is not real-life.

I mixed up route frequencies with on-time performance. Pardon me.
