When I did the browse airports, Atlanta had 198 gates total while Denver had 204. How is this possible when Atlanta has 6 or 7 concourses while Denver only has 3? I think they need to double check their gate numbers. My only explanation for this inaccuracy is that they were trying to balance the power of each airport. There is a lot of demand to and from ATL because of what Delta has made of it in real life. Did they give fewer gates to ATL so it would be more of a competition to gain access to the gates at this airport with high demand?

My guess is terminals were more common in Denver in your world.

I don't think it really matters. ATL and DEN have so many gates they'll never run out anyhow

That's not the case because if you subtract the number of gates in my terminal from the total gates, that number is less than the available gates

Gates in your terminal DOES NOT affect total number of gates used in the airport since they are technically 2 'different' buildings
