I'm getting upset about this:

My aircraft disappear, apparently I am selling other people's aircraft and from time to time some people even abuse this bug.

Example:

Aircraft number 20228, a A330-300, was successfully sold to Air Transat for the price of $38,500,000.

Your accountants have calculated the difference in the depreciation you have already accounted for and the selling price of the aircraft. A net loss of

$-86,500,000 will be accounted for in your Revenue - Aircraft Sales account.

If that's a mistake, this has to be the most stupid player in the game. But it's not. It is a deliberate attempt to abuse a bug; and (s)he gets away with it. I never owned that A330-300. Whoever was the rightfull owner: sorry but I cannot help it you lost your plane.

Aircraft missing in action are never to be seen again. Polite requests to investigate what happened fall on deaf ears. The bug "tracking" system is no use either.

I've heard "this is a joke" before. Well, I don't think it is funny at all. It sucks. What bothers me even more than the bugs is the big silence. There's no indication at all that reporting these incidents is useful or even desired (or not). People of AE: I consider it VERY impolite what you do. If you are too busy to answer this kind of email, ask for help (or accept the offers you've got!!!). If it is a choice: <censored>.

In addition:

Frame 20512, A319-100, "You do not have access to this private sale" (but it is my own plane)
Frame 20521: the same

Frame 20514, A319-100, "This offer has been cancelled."

20512 and 20521 are visible under "Current Aircraft", 20514 is gone entirely.

EDIT: I got 20512 and 20521 back! Wheee!!!!

Suddenly I find myself selling Q400 aircraft numbers 20695 (for 99,999,999), 20714 (for 34,989,999) and 20717 (for 38,500,000). Before that french poodle posts a smart remark again: I did not list those.

I released these planes, hopefully to their rightful owner Maritimejet (although it has never been confirmed by AE staff that it actually works that way). I can only hope that other players do the same when they spot my planes.

I probably lost a 330-200 in the process as well; did not yet find out which number.

Get used to it. Brokers sell more aircraft than airlines, so it happens more often. The staff know about it, but I don't think there is anything that can be done until the new scripts are written.

I know this is a messed up bug and no one has said anything about it for a while. Instead of placing each aircraft for sale individually, try this: After you place the first aircraft for sale, use the same link that is in your browser, but change the aircraft number and or price if necessary. I tried this with about 60 aircraft and didn't lose any this way. This makes me think that when you press the button to place the aircraft for sale, that is when it is confusing the sale information with the other airlines aircraft. If nothing else, it is faster then going through and placing each aircraft for sale.

Thanks but no: I disagree. The staff can do something to this kind of cheaters. Buying a plane worth 125,000,000 for only 38.5 is no mistake.

And on the other part of the problem:

ISTR something about enabling debugging on the aircraft market scripts but am having trouble finding the exact search words. Anyway, if memory serves well, TW has (had?) enabled logging all script parameters. This of course is useless if people don't report problematic planes. However, I have reached the point where I doubt reporting anything (!) to AE staff is useful. Reason: no feedback.

Agree it is not worth the effort to keep reporting bugs however TorqueWrench did say that he is re-writing the aircraft delivery / come sale script from the ground up after it was hacked by the hacker/s, also he did say that the delivery system will revert back to the old way of 2 aircraft per ae month, but only once he has finished the delivery / sales script. So in short all players will have to grin and put up with this system the way it is, and its working (Players can buy and sell to a point) if there is like PSA said massive over priced aircraft and ghosting ones all over the place you will have to hope who has the aircraft will delist it from their log and this may be returned to you. No good asking for a refund as in the past (One of only a few times posted communications from Miller22) Miller22 said (Sure you can get a refund) 100% of $0.

When this happens, some players don't even notice that an aircraft is listed for sale by them. Some airlines may not even log in for a week at a time and even then, they may not check the used aircraft market or find any aircraft for sale that are not theirs. Except for the ones that are way overpriced like my D328 that got listed for sale under another airline for $60M. After a few days, the airline delisted it and it came back to me. But when it comes to underpriced aircraft, it is up to the players that see or recieve the offers for these aircraft to either delist them or decline to purchase them. They are not cheating, because they did nothing to cause the bug. But if they notice it and let it go, then they are abusing the bug which is just as bad.

The D328 is what I was trying to refer to as the example, just have not been in the search area to locate the post (Sorry) :( Yes I also agree that once any player posts an aircraft for sale it is in the (Lap of the Gods) if it will be visable or listed correctly, but it is clear now that TorqueWrench and Miller22 are pushing on with placing 99.9% of their efforts into this new version, and while this game in its current sad state is still functioning they will just brush aside all the negitive comments and written abuse and march on. In a way it is a pitty that there is not more developers assisting the whole game but so be it.

I guess for the time been, we have to deal with the way the current game operates and with all the bugs present. Though, im very hopefully that the next version will surely more than make up for these previous rounds and hopefully, provide us with more enjoyment than before.

Hi Highspeed

I'm the CEO of Air Transat.
Just for you know that i'm not cheating on this situation.
I was surfing the used market plane page yesterday and find this awesome deal, so,i'm not a stupid guy so i order the plane.

I know many cheater here having many airlines and feed cheaper plane to his better airline, when the private bug arrive, they release it in the public market, so if i can got it before him, that's cool.
