Hi guys,

So recently I started buying super small planes in order to fly to very small airports. I'm based in Siberia, so these airports are like very very very small (here's an example). I don't need to do this, but I thought it would be fun. However, none of these routes are turning a profit, because this category called "Other Taxes and Fees" is so overwhelmingly high. Not that the loss of money is a problem, but the red just annoys me.

Why is this, and is there a way around this?

If you have no competition at all which is very likely, try to raise the price. That's a fun project you're doing though. Hope you fix your issue !

I just tried playing with the price a little, but I still can't turn a profit. My losses go down a little, then increase again. What do I do now?

Looks to me that your fuel is killing you. So normally smaller planes do better on shorter flights.

You could create some smaller hubs and create demand spamming it a little

You could play with your in flight service to gain some revenue there too.

Seat back video and Wifi in a Cessna can only happen on AE.

To be honest I don't see much problem with the plane but rather with the taxes and fee's that he has to pay which are nearly bigger than the entire flight income.

I'd recommend something a bit bigger - maybe something like a Twin Otter, An-28 or something in the 19-seat range. They make more money, and can handle more empty seats. i don't think that it's possible to make a profit with the PC-12. Try something bigger.

Yeah its a problem because i know markets in my two countries, there are a small traffic airports, some of them in the case of Colombia are low profitable, but some small air carriers can run for decades.

Some aircraft have no sense to be in the game with that "Other Taxes and Fees" because his operative costs are high and their small incomes sometimes with a small flote dont cover the base maintenance. :(
