Advantages and Disadvantages?
Boeing 757-200: Longer range, less capacity and less operating cost
Boeing 757-300: Significant decrease in range, 40+ seats more, higher operating cost
soo..which ones the one to go with?
Which 757 series?

I use 753 on longer domestic flights, simply because i don't like maxing out the range

Interestingly enough, that was your 753rd post (or, at least how many when I read this one)

Well the 753 is simply better for operation costs PER seat. 752 may be lower, but so it the 717, but you get more seats. Also be advised 752 range in this game is not as advertised. Go with 753 as maxing out range on some models eliminated a lot of economical advantages especially as doing more short range hops at that point makes you a lot more $$$ than doing lower number of flts even if its more gate space.

752 for longer range than 753 or for routes that you need something bigger than 737s but smaller than A332s
753 for high capacity routes where the A332 is not economical and 752 is too small!

752 is better, but it really depends on your route length and capacity.
Hehe, the post is going well, isn't it? When I voted, everything was equal. Good luck choosing!

752. I'm using my 738s with routes 1400-3000 and 752 3000-4000. They're good planes so definatly get'em.

After playing this round, I thought the 753 was the better airframe. Other than the range advantage, which is only valuable fron NE USA to EUR (can't speak to to asia) the additional seats of the 753 over the 739 and 752 are the determing factor. The addtional cost is not that great and for domestic routes, the additional range of other aircraft just increases the operating costs.

I chose the 757-200, because of it's longer range. The capacity of this type is perfect for routes of this length. Routes won't be more profitable with more capacity (757-300), because of the growing competition on each route. On routes on which much more capacity is needed i choose the A330.
