Slower Webserver?

Nothing to worry about guys, just trying to get a concensus...

Have you noticed the website slowing down? We've been reciveving alot of traffic recently and the server statistically has been slower, i'm just wondering if you've noticed it?

I did re-boot the server before to try to improve things, but my numbers mean nothing on their own.

If you notice the server taking its time and slowing down please let me know in this thread... dont bother PM'ing me... just post the time and what you were doing...

I'm building up a live statistics area so players will be able to see what the server is doing and how busy it is at certain times...

Hmm. Nope, I have not seen anything slow down.

Had a problems opening a page a couple of times, page timing out etc. Nothing other than that though. When refreshing the page came up.

For a game thats free its no problem at all.

I did notice it was taking longer to load pages about 2 hours ago but it seems okay now.

Ya, it was taking a little while to laod pages, and maybe it temprorarily crashed, becasue there were about 5 min where nothing would load.

Yeah, yesterday, there was one point where the page didn't even load. I wasn't sure if the weather had anything to do with it because it might have, and our TV was also slightly affected, we lost a few channels.

At most times, it's not noticeable, although once in awhile, you get busy periods where the server is a bit slower. There's obviously peak times, especially around the day change.

A bit slower, perhaps, but nothing unacceptable.

hm wonder why that is ?? pff it's 2 in the night over here and guess what .. also waiting to so if any interesting gate pops up .. since u bigger airlines are starting to build terminals now
