New Idea/Concept

Hi,

I have an airlines in S4B (with 4 billions dollar and no route) and I want some new ideas for this airlines because I don't want to do a normal/classic airlines where you just create routes and do millions dollars per days. I want to have some challenge in leading my airlines. Have you some suggestions of someting new that I never did? Normally, I used to play semi-realistic airlines, generally in North America or in Europe. 

Get to 100 rep and maintain it. It's more of a challenge in the normal worlds because of course they're longer. Perhaps start an airline in O2 which has just been reset and get it to 100 ASAP and maintain it for the duration of the game. That'd be my main suggestion

That's a great suggestion, I can do it in S4B, it's easier of course but I have an airlines with 3,6 billions dollar, 300 aircraft and no route so I will use that airlines to have the 100 rep.  

Stevphfeniey: Good idea too, I think I will do that in S3B if I don't have any other ideas. I think it could be fun to operate a route like JFK - IAD only with helicopters!

Any other ideas for me?

All  business class seater planes on as many routes as possible

Run a realistic airline. Keep utilization down, keep configs real, and keep routes real-like (ALG-JHW  ). Extra difficulty: run a real life airline in the game (exact fleet types, configs, routes, frequencies, and prices to an extent).

Book Siberia: The all buisness class airlines can be a good idea.

bAnderson: I already run a relatively realistic airlines (with real aircraft config and realistic aircraft use), I need someting more original than that. For the real life airline, it's a good idea but it would be difficult an I think that will become annoying after a certain time. But thank you for your ideas.

Finally, I create an airlines in the new S3B with an all buisness 737-300 for starting aircraft, but I will terminate lease on this aircraft later because I want an all-helicopter fleet. So, my airlines will have an all-helicopter fleet with all buisness class!

With 100 rep as well

Michael: I can try to have the 100 rep by the end of the game but not for the beginning because my airlines will not be profitable. But I think it could be an additionnal goal for my airlines.

If you survive on just helicopters I'll forever admire your courage. 100 rep and helicopters puts you on a par with anyone

An airline that carries only F (or only C and F) passengers, that will probably require smaller planes or helicopters. Airlines that do only Y seat configurations won't bother you much, but you'll have problems with medium and long-haul flights probably

I think that's exactly what the man is doing

I'm actually doing an all buisness helicopter airlines!     The airlines is not a real luxury airlines because for the moment I use scam IFE/IFS to be profitable. My airlines actually have 10 helicopter (Boeing 234ER) + one boeing 737-300 (it's my starting aircraft, I will sold it later).

use only RJs (no ATR, Q300/400, Airbus, Boeing) only Fokker jets, CRJs, and E-Jets in all-business/first config and maintain 100% rep. I will actually try it. Do it in Sandbox/R worlds that start in the 2000s because that is when most RJs come out.

LJ Aviations: Good idea using only RJs. In AE, it doesn't have a lot of airlines that use RJs. I  have to try this later, it's challenging but not impossible like my current airlines, an only-helicopter airlines.
