Utilization

Is there a benefit to flying a plane less than its maximum hours?  I've noticed some of the really large airlines have utilizations in the 15-18 range.  My planes are all at 22+ hours utilization.

Yes and no in my opinion. when you fly them more your on time preference goes down. it may affect other things but I really haven't found flying planes less or using more then one plane to fly a route to be that big of a difference when it comes to profits. It may mater more when AE4 is here.  you my find many different opinions on this.

If your utilization is crazy high (above 16), then you'll get a name as a spamliner. That's about it though

Utilisation actually has an effect on more than opinions believe it or not.

It affects on time performance and in turn, the route reputation and hence airline reputation.

I want to know how he gets more the 20 hours in a plane ? cause i'll use all the hours I got. and no plane in my fleet will go over 20. so what gives ? ?

I tend to use my aircraft to the max and with good seat configurations, good on-board product and relatively young/updated fleet I have done very well with reputation.
