A new spin on the gate bug...

Before the change to April I bought 4 or 5 gates at ORD today for a gate hold. I completely filled those slots going South Bend with a J-31 and 1900. I ordered 10 Q400s before the month change too.

I planned on releasing the gate holds as I deployed the Qs. Things worked well on the first 3 Q's. During April 2, I changed the frequence of my 1900 on ORD-SBN to free up 12 slots. I hit the update button, and everything looked great. I immediately tried to add a new ORD route, and I am told I have no slots in ORD. I went back to ORS-SBN to check if I messed it up and didn't actually release the slots.

NOPE! My slots in ORD-SBN are gone, and I don't have them available to any other aircraft. I still have 5 slots being used in ORD-SBN, but I am not about to mess with them now.

Sorry to other compeittors, but I'll have to deploy these planes on point to point routes now, instead of out of my hub.

Had this problem as well. After looking through my records, this is what happened:

-1- bought new gates
-2- started flying
-3- torquewrench had to make some adjustments; a roll back to the previous situation occured and the gates I previously bought were gone. However, existing routes were not affected
-4- Releasing those gates and trying to reuse them had the same effect as you experienced. They were gone. When you close the route, the gates can no longer be used because you didn't rent them (step 3).

You will notice that you do NOT show any ORD gates FREE.

If you look down this list and make a note of those missing, and re-purchase them then your are back in business.
