 I had a D328 on the public market for $10M. It was purchased by Oceanic and I never got the cash. It's not the first time this has happened, but it is getting real frustrating. So, anybody get an extra $10M in cash or did AE eat it?

I finally got hit with that bug last round. It was for a 738 I believe. Luckily it was a day before the reset was announced. Still, this bug is pretty bad.

Yeah, remember my 328 from last round that I put on the market for $10M? For some reason it got listed for a price of $60M and it ended up under someone else's control. The other airline delisted it and it returned to me.

Just got caught with this bug myself. Sold 2 * 1900s for $5000000 each but only got the cash for one. I wanted the cash as part deposit on a new aircraft so I'm a little annoyed.

Is anything being done to correct this problem and will those who have lost cash get it back?

Thanks

Annoying as anything, but well documented. Not sure when they'll try to fix it. The used market works well 99.5% of the time, but that's not a consolation when you lose millions in it. Think of the used market as a casino for aircraft sellers. :P

If I had $5000000 to gamble I would be at the casino, not running an airline.

Another one:

J-31 for $4,899,899 sold to pacific coast airlines at time 17:01:05 (don't know which time zone that is but it seems to be 22:01:05 GMT).

No extra cash.
Aircraft sales does report the difference between price and value.
My airline's value was reduced by the value of this J-31.

This is bad; buying a plane on the new market cost me roughly 10 mln, now this 3.something, both occured almost "on the hour". Is it coincidence that this sale was almost on the hour or do all similar problems on such a time?

I know the bug has been there for a while but it seems to occur more often now?

If indeed these problems mostly occur on the hour, perhaps it is because of something like this. Consider a script/subroutine/stored procedure in the database:
-1- fetch cashlevel of player
-2- do calculations, add dop, whatever
-3- store new cashlevel of player

Now mix two of such scripts: "a" is selling aircraft, "b" is end of month

-1a- fetch cashlevel of player $50,000,000
-1b- fetch cashlevel of player $50,000,000
-2a- do calculations, add price of sold plane $50,000,000 + $5,000,000
-2b- do calculations, add dop $50,000,000 + $2,500,000
-3a- store new cashlevel of player $55,000,000
-3b- store new cashlevel of player $52,500,000 <--- without the extra cash

I think Public market sales need to be suspended until this problem is solved!!! I am a small airline and this 5.1 million loss hit me really hard!! Cause this means, I end up with less planes as well

lol, i was small when I ordered that saab 2000 and lost a whole $18million. I think it crashed on its delivery flight and no-one told me.

Also i lost $10million on a public sale with an ATR, still i lost that. So i am $28million down.

i know how its feels

Anyone could aks those guys that purchased if they actually payed for the planes ? Such we could know if the money is eaten by EA or remains on the account of the buyer.

Wooooooohooooooooo ... hellooooow ? Anyone care to call the game-mods in here to just give us some feedback ? Would be nice to hear their thought (even if they can't fix it).

Just got caught again. Sold a Beech for $4500000 but didn't get any money. I know this game is only a Beta test but this bug has been reported by many players and been around for weeks. Are Miller or Torque looking at it or do we have to suffer?

According to the bug reports, after the aircraft is sold and you don't get paid, there is no way for the bug to be tracked. The sales log shows the correct buyer and seller information. Either AE ate the money for it, somebody else got the cash for your aircraft, or the buyer never paid for it.

Last round the D328 I had was on the market for about two or three real days before I got it back. I had listed it for about $10 Million and yet it ended up being listed for $60 Million and for sale by another airline. The only way I got it back was because the airline that it magically appeared under was kind enough to delist it. That may have been long enough for it to be tracked if it had been more than just Miller working on bugs at the time.

So far I've lost over $20 Million in aircraft this round. It has to be fixed sometime.

Okay i cant track these bugs without the following information...

ID's of both airlines involved and the ID of the aircraft involved...
