The AE4 project is a very complex upgrade of AE as it basically is "Re-Inventing" ae from scratch wich does require alot of work from our Developers, and out Data collection team wich all do contribute to AE voluntarily and have jobs, beside a life to live, being social etc.

 

As this is that serious and complex re-do it is natural it will take time as none of us that are staff here is working on AE 24/7

 

Also asking about when it will be released will not help as it will be released once completed, but there is no way to tell for sure and therfore we will not issue any release data as it simply ain`t done yet.

 

So please, be patient and enjoy the current game instead and be aware that we are working on AE4, feature for feature, step for step, slow but steady progress is being made.
