TAM and LAN merger?
They have a holding since 2012 and now become a single airline
Well, today TAM and LAN have become officially LATAM Airlines. What do you expect about this airline? Tell me pleaseI hope that TAM will improve a lot as LATAM mainly because the LAN is the best airline in South America and because I like to have high expectations
I also like the livery
The "LATAM" on the fuselage looks photoshopped
As Agre said in chat once and I agree with, the LATAM really should be billboard titles it kinda drags an otherwise nice livery down that it's not.

That stripes logo looks like a rotated Germanwings logo with two random dashes added. -.- Very original.
Anyway, interesting development, I need to get more informed.
By the way, is there some active open skies agreement in South America, or do LATAM and Avianca just open subsidiaries wherever they want?

No, there's no open skies agreement in South America. LATAM Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru are all subsidiaries of LATAM Airlines Group, like Avianca Holdings does
Hope it works out well. Does anyone know how many members Oneworld "officially" has now? Are LATAM Chile and Brazil two separate "full" members? Will LATAM Peru/Arg/Col be full members if so?
