What are fuel's unit and flow price

Hello there,

I was doing some math and comparing some aircraft, but I happened to not know the unit used with the flow numbers, nor the price for 1 unit. What would those be?

That's a good question though... I wonder too...

Is fuel flow calculated per airtime or per mile?

I was never sure, but I think it's pounds of fuel per hour of flight, on full throttle and full load... Someone should be more specific.
