How accurate are the aircraft stats in AE? There are some aircraft that I feel like should perform quite similarly, but looking at their stats they are quite different.

One example is the 787 vs A330ceo.  Below are the stats given by AE, notice how the range of the 787 is always much higher than the A330.

buy.png Buy   lease.png Lease Available Airbus A330-200 $112,000,000 $1,244,444 406 547 mph 6,503 mi (7,650 max) 65 min WINGLET.png 1998- 3 weeks

buy.png Buy   lease.png Lease Available Airbus A330-300 $125,000,000 $1,388,889 440 547 mph 5,483 mi (6,450 max) 75 min WINGLET.png 1993- 3 weeks

buy.png Buy   lease.png Lease Available Boeing 787-10 $239,000,000 $2,655,556 509 580 mph 7,874 mi (9,264 max) 50 min   2018- 3 weeks

buy.png Buy   lease.png Lease Available Boeing 787-8 $152,000,000 $1,688,889 381 580 mph 9,782 mi (11,508 max) 55 min   2011- 3 weeks

buy.png Buy   lease.png Lease Available Boeing 787-9 $189,000,000 $2,100,000 420 580 mph 9,194 mi (10,817 max) 60 min   2014- 3 weeks

These are the states from Wikipedia, which are suppose to be from airport planning document from the manufacturers. Here the ranges between the A330 and 787 are more similar, and one shouldn't have too much problem swapping between A330 and 787.

Aircraft        Seating (max)   Range

A330-200    406                   8360 mi

A330-300    440                   7300 mi

B787-8        381                   8460 mi

B787-9        420                   8790 mi

B787-10      330 (2-class)    7400 mi

Can anyone comment on this?

just a worth a mention, normally nothing wrong with using Wikipedia but just keep in mind it is not a reliable source and cannot be used by the Data Collector/Moderators in AE.

The data collectors make the stats as accurate as possible. If you see a discrepancy, report it.

This is also the case for the 737NG.

Boeing 737-600 $46,000,000 $511,111 149 528 mph 3,539 mi (4,718 max) 30 min  1998- 2 weeks
Boeing 737-700 $52,000,000 $577,778 149 528 mph 3,452 mi (4,603 max) 35 min Winglets 1998- 2 weeks
Boeing 737-800 $61,000,000 $677,778 189 528 mph 3,194 mi (4,258 max) 35 min Winglets 1998- 2 weeks

Again, from wikipedia, with winglet (not saying it's 100% correct, just a quick reference and probably not too far off):

737-600 WL: 3,225 nmi (5,970 km)

737-700 WL: 3,440 nmi (6,370 km)

737-800 WL: 3,115 nmi (5,765 km)

The 737-600 has a shorter range than the 737-700, and in fact the range of the -600 and -800 are similar, but AE has it such the range are ordered -800 << -700 < -600.

Where can I report these? Sorry, I am quite new here.

Either PM a data collector or post at the Suggestions section

Please use the bug tracker for reporting errors and stuff;

As i see you mentioned the A330CEO, AE does at the moment not model or offer the A330 CEO ;)

also in regards with sources, wikipedia is not a reliable source and for aircraft range modifications you would need range/payload charts as well as other documents to prove the range given is the actual range.

cause "range" is different depending on who you ask, and where and how you read the official documents ;)

Isn't most of the data used from official sources and not wikipedia? When it comes to debatable information and raw numbers... Wikipedia tends to have a bit of an issue with accuracy. Other solid fact things are fine... But numbers... They often struggle with.
