What am I doing wrong? I have started like 100 airlines and all have gone bankrupt! I have two leased planes! That's it! All my routes are making money, one is making 27,000 dollars per day and the other 137,000 dollars per day! But I still lost like 2 million dollars in just 3 IRL hours!!!! I have tried tips like scam IFS and lowering salaries. I have started a new airline, currently at 91 million dollars. If someone trustworthy could reply and if I trust them enough and if they promise not to do anything bad to my airline, I could give them access and maybe they could help me? All I really want to do is play roleplay, and that's why I like games where you can get unlimited money or a lot of money so that you can buy airplanes! If someone like a mod, the guy with the cop from the Simpsons, for example since I have seen him around and he seems to be quite helpful, could help? I could give you the access and maybe you could change some stuff. I have changed the salaries to $7 per hours for ALL of the people working at my airline. Please give some tips! My airline is FinAero if you were wondering.

Thanks,

Zjump

Thanks Maestro69 for helping with my airline, and JJC for making me a livery!

Try sticking to one aircraft type until you have at least five of them. My guess is you are bring killed by maintenance costs.

You should also consider keeping away from the most expensive airports for the first six games months. If in US don't use any airport where gate costs £100,000 or more to start with.

WELP! That failed! XD! I started at a US airport because I thought it had good business. Can you help me? By like, you know going into my account and making some changes and whatnot? I can add you if you want to my airline for a while so that you can edit some of the options I have set.

What I usually do is lease some relatively old planes from the used market, and then replace them with new planes once I'm in a secure financial position. Also, make sure you choose an aircraft type that you're going to lease a few of that is popular with other airlines: this way, you can usually find quite a few on the used market - but make sure the plane isn't too big for the kind of routes that you want to fly! I'd recommend the B737-300/400/500 if you're in that kind of era, otherwise, your best bet is most likely an a320. I tried flying some MD-83s and it didn't go too great, but I know they've worked for others. As for seating arrangement, I normally go for all Economy, but, again, it really depends on the kind of routes you want to fly. Hope this helped!

Here's my summary of the advice offered from everyone.

  • Lease few planes/plane types
  • Lower salaries
  • If in need of more money use scam IFS
  • Try to avoid expensive airports unless route is making tons of capital
  • Watch costs that sneak up on you and try to fix them... (Some aren't possible: tax, fuel, etc. just try your best)

Good Luck and welcome to the game! ;)

Give me access and I will look . And not screw with anything.  And make a written observation.  I'm off work for a couple weeks. Currently   I,m running Supersonic Trainwreck express at number 12 in World O2.  Have been top 10 twice.
