When you choose the number of seats for the aircraft, if you dont choose the maximum, say 130 rather than 150, does that me the seats that you have will have more legroom?

Yes, it does!
Like for the A320-100 or -200 for example, their maximum seating capacity on here is 189 seats. When you do look at the airlines in real life flying A320s, you don't see any airlines flying A320s with 189 seats, because you'll literally be packed like sardines onto the plane, since there's no legroom. Typically, most airlines with the A320 in real life would settle for anything between 140 seats to 160, just to be sure that they get the configuration that the airline believes is right for getting the most out of that plane, and still have passengers feeling comfortable with the legroom.
Sure, my airline that I play as on here is "different" than others, but I still either come up with my own configurations, or use real seat configurations that are up on the web, for when it comes to doing the cabin configuration with the airliners on here.
