It just tickles me that a UK airline has a hub in DUB while I am still waiting for IOM and BFS.

The Irish one: http://ae31.airline-...e3r7&player=484

The British One: http://ae31.airline-...e3r7&player=241

Because DUB is in UK.

United Kingdom consists of England and Northern Ireland, thats why UK airline could have a hub in DUB.

And IOM is in Isle of Man which it has its own independently administered juridictions, they are not part of the UK or overseas territories of the United Kingdom. So if you want a hub in IOM, you need to open an airline HQ at IOM. CMIIW.

But Dublin is in the Republic of Ireland, not Northern Ireland. I'm also confused though.

Now I knon the problems. Because Ireland and UK are EU countries. So any EU countries could open a hub in other EU countries, theyre covered by an open skies agreement.

And yeah sorry, DUB is in Republic of Ireland.

Because banderson is headquartered in DUB, he could open a hub anywhere in EU countries. But coundt open in IOM, because IOM isnt part of EU.

IOM is part of the UK for AE, thus EU.

The UK airline can open a hub in DUB, but only operate UK-DUB flights until 2000.

Anderson, your airline can open a hub in IOM and BFS but can only operate Ireland - IOM/BFS flights until 2000.

After 2000 you are free to open any inter-EU flight (except for Croatia, which kicks in later)
