I've played this game on and off for quite a few years now, but never noticed a "feature" it has. When you pre-order aircraft and then order aircraft that are normally in production and available within just a few weeks, they get tacked on only after the preordered aircraft. In other words, aircraft currently in production may suddenly not be available for years and years, if you have that kind of backlog on preordered aircraft.

That's completely ridiculous! Not only doesn't it make any sense at all, but I can't believe that after all these years it hasn't long been fixed. Sorry, this just boggled my mind. If it's already been discussed 1000 times and there's a good reason not to fix it, my apologies for wasting your time. But I just blocked off not just one, but two major manufacurers (Boeing and Airbus), and it really puts a crimp in my style.

Just order aircraft currently in production first...

That feature helps you plan a fleet in longer terms, and it's also quite realistic because real-world aviation industry also announces new production that way, even earlier than here.

 

When you pre-order, is it so hard to think if you need something currently in production first? Who forces you to pre-order?

 

It's basically a simple glitch, It might be changed in the future, but it's also probably not the easiest thing to program. For a free game made by volunteers, your outrage is not very fair.

 

For the time being, you're incapable of seeing that you're making a pre-order marked blue instead of green, and see the date that is showed a few times including when you finalize your order, I don't know what to say.

If you don't know what to say, you probably shouldn't say anything. As it is, you made it plain that you think I'm pretty dumb. Maybe you should try to understand what is being said the next time - before you answer. And since my comments aren't appreciated, I'll just shut up myself now.

Well it more or less was an answer, and this 'feature' really does make sense.

God, I'm just in awe of so much concentrated intelligence.
