My 2 cents

Heres my 2 cents, i think there should be feature to sell gates. After 5 or 6 years gates are hard to come by and become worth alot. So maybe the way we sell a/c we can sell gates.

What do you guys think?

Well, people like me would abuse it and hog all the gates at a popular airport the the start of the game...and sell it (LGA/MDW/DCA comes to mind!).

You can do that now, what does that have to do with my suggestion.

I paid some guy 10 million for a gate in MDW when I was expanding there. Now since I can't expand there anymore I'm just expanding in a new place. BTW, I like your suggestion quicktime.

Thanks Anthony, yea gate dealing is a growing industry, So much demand and low supply so ppl can charge alot$$$

But your right, gate dealing is a growing industry I could be a good feature that could be added.

That's what gate leasing is for. If/when it is implemented, you can still own the gate and or a terminal and lease the slots to another airline.

but what if you wanted to close that station down completely? I like this idea, except it will have no use for me as an Asian airline.

this would actually inflate prices of gates in the game. brokers would end up with half the gates flying on routes to hold them, selling them for more than they would since they need to turn a profit, when if this feature were not added and people didn't buy gates with only the intent of selling them there would a) be more gates and be gates for regular price. This is just another way for people with fat greasy fingers to get ahead imo
