firey crashes every so often

can we get some crashes? i'd like to see some devastating plane crashes  once and awhile. this would of course cripple your airline in many different facets especially after the lawsuit.

This has been suggested hundreds of times and has been rejected hundreds of times, it won't be added to the game as random crashes would end up picking on one airline most frequently. Using the search function before posting is recommended for suggestions.

We can implement some formulas to this (if we really want it), rather than make it a random occurence.

Something based on fleet size, route size, and staff salary.

It's not accurate though hence forth it won't be put into the game

Distribution was one concern, but the main reasons are that I find it distasteful and it doesn't add to the gameplay in any meaningful way.

whatever happened to realism? just make it a thing that happens like once every 5 years. it might affect your rep slightly and a temporary hit to passengers overall wanting to fly. it's amazing more crashes don't happen with all the traffic n the sky at the moment.

But one cannot predict crashes at all. The world's 'safest airline' with the best maintenance checks and pilots could still have 2 crashes in a day, whereas an airline with almost none of that seeing no crashes in decades. Plus the fact I don't want my aircraft randomly taken away from me.

There's rarely crashes in the modern day world so I see no need to add insult to those who perish in aviation disasters, as Yuxi said it is distasteful and as for the planes in the sky to crash ratio, there's dedicated air corridors managed very well with varying altitudes following navy aids - planes don't just free fly in the sky they are controlled therefore the ammount of AC in the sky has little effect on the crash risk if managed correctly by ATC.
