So title may not make that much sense but let me explain here:

Let's say for reasons of fleet commonality or otherwise I decide to fly a plane on a route where payload restrictions are applied, so instead of being able to carry 56 passengers, I can only carry 44.

Currently the "Seats on Market Graph" shows 56 daily seats on the route when in actuality there's only 44 seats on the market as the other 12 can't be sold to passengers.

So what I'm proposing is that the graph reflects how many seats you can sell (44) as opposed to how many seats are in the plane (56)

Possibly preferential would be a grey area on the graph indicating 'blocked seats'

I like it, I don't tend to go past the Max range though.

I also like the idea.  I do find myself occasionally exceeding the max capacity range to get to certain destinations, but usually not by very much.  I would prefer having a 90% full plane servicing a particular route that I like daily as opposed to having a much larger plane servicing it just once or twice a week (or as opposed to having to invest in a new aircraft type altogether).  Just personal preference I guess...
