So, as the title suggests, I want to expand and start flying long haul, but don't know which plane is better? 747 or A380?
Which is better - Boeing 747 or A380?

Why not both? This is AE, where the numbers are irrelevant and the economics don't matter.

On long routes, doesn't matter the frequencies but short routes it does because 747 is a bit faster and has a 1hr:30mn turn around time while the a380 has 2hr turn around flight time

On topic: Both are great, although the A380 is quite a lot better than the 747-400 on a CASM basis.

you get both, it's not about which one is better, but about getting as many planes as possible

I suppose its down to personal preference alongside the likes of runway needs, passenger demand and the likes
