At the moment flights in AE from NATO countries to countries in the warsaw pact and vice versa are possible unlimited. Does this match reality or were there flight restrictions?

I'm sure that whatever limitations were not put in place by politics were dictated by the lack of demand between the two blocs

I would bet that pax counts going to Warsaw Pact would be extremely low, but you could probably pack a plane leaving the Warsaw pact. Demand leaving would be off the charts.
