Yukon is for noobs, profit with a Fokker 28
Howdy, Steve. In what operational categories does the F-28 excel over the Yukon? My numbers could be wrong, but when comparing each aircraft on a hypothetical 500 mile RT mission, the Yukon will deliver 8x-10x the profit of either F-28 versions. I'm hoping my aircraft comparison data isn't completely off the mark...but, will double-check I've entered accurate data for each aircraft...

faster=more round trips also, whats the point of getting the better aircraft when ae is so easy already? challenge yourself
howdy, ar157. actually, i do challenge myself by operating all aircraft between 14 and 16 daily flight hrs for any aircraft and they fly with an ifr flight reserve restriction on their range. nevertheless, maybe i'm not seeing the same aircraft specs you folks are...

Ah...got it Nexus.
"Profit with a Fokker 28"...is the challenge.
I don't know much about real world airline management, but I'd still look for the more efficient aircraft per mission type. I've found plenty of challenges just trying to survive the airlines who gut the tickets to $36 bucks and leave it there for eternity. :-)

I know not much of a challegne
considering the number of large airlines who oversaturate market demand with excessive seats while dumping ticket prices to a level i find it hard to believe returns a sustainable profit, i certainly need (well...needed) to find the most efficient aircraft that can operate well, profit and profit percentage-wise, at such ticket costs until I eventually won the passengers over. then i could gradually raise prices again and keep them...until the next gutter price was established.--"rinse and repeat". heh heh with an f-28 against those tactics...i'd have put a bullet in my head by now. alas...GittiHawk is shut down now--real world commitments have finally secured my attention. i love this game, though!
