No, this is not a dream - yes, I am as surprised as you are.... This certainly came out of the blue, I quite like it actually - thoughts, suggestions?

As for the Dove, well, all I can say is I'm glad I lost out in the Great Britons competition to a piece of art as good as that.

I can honestly agree. A lot of people say it looks crap, but I don't think the pictures do it justice. It's one of those things you have to see in reality to appreciate.

SB... I agree the dove is a good piece of "art" but it isn't a livery. The dove would look amazing on paper but on an actual aircraft it is an uninspiring vague big fat wtf.... What BA need's to do is throw out a livery that screams "olympics" not a white plane with some pieces of gold paint... hell 99% of the world don't even realise the dove is associated with the Olympics, you Brit's need to pull the corncob out your asses and start thinking simple. I don't know what Keith is thinking allowing that trash on one of his planes. You of all people, SB, should know that brand and identity is more important than "art" especially on liveries promoting an event such as the Olympics.
Two things I do like about this new livery is the subtle "To fly. To Serve" and the fact they kept the tail rwb. I'd like to see a wide-body painted, but not into these Part of me is hoping that they will paint more of these in the other colours of the Olympics.
I liked TW and it's gone. NW, and it's gone. CO, and it's gone. Pray I don't like you.

Now that I come to think of it, it was indeed more focused on everything other than the design itself, namely the shading. It captured the concept of an international athletic event better than "The Firefly" though.Ha, as much as I appreciate the complement, mine was a pile of utter s . . .

Ye, I think the Air Canada 2010 Winter Olympic livery captured that well.

After the hype of Pascal Anson's 'The Dove' livery, British Airways today unveiled their second Olympic livery 'The Firefly'.

That was the first version, he had to tweak it after someone realized that he accidentally put a skier on the livery.

Yes but the point is there is no match between speed's and the BA cheese slice livery.
