I noticed that some airlines are growing so fast with value over 30 Millions, with 6 leased airplanes. If everyone starts with 1 airplane and 7,5 Millions in cash, how can this be possible?

A lot of players like to spend all of their time refreshing the used market and leasing from there.

Even this Way, I just cant lease even the used ones because I pass a lot of time of the month with negative cash. And more, the point is not the number of airplanes, the leaders got now around 5/6 planes, the point is the value of the company around 30 miilions in just 3 months (?!)

I guess for the negative cash balance part, you can always issue a bond or two. That's what I've done and leased a few new airplanes. I'm not really having trouble finding profitable SH routes without competition since I'm not using the biggest airports, and it's generating a decent profit. Hopefully, my leases and bonds won't come back to bite me in the ass later, but if that happens, I'll deal with it in some way :)

I should add though that I don't have a value anywhere near $30 millions, but isn't that just based on how much cash you have? If so, just take a bunch of loans and you will have a high value. Not sure how that works though since I'm quite new here.

Well, it always happens like this from my limited experience. Some grow faster than I can. I just finally hit 1 mil a day DOP so hopefully all the nasty grams I keep getting about late payments will end. But it always slows me down big time, gate leases are killing me.

Try to build up from a few routes first and then grow from there. Also try to operate only one or two types of aircraft at first (like the A320 and/or Boeing 737 family) and avoid leasing more expensive aircraft until you have a stable positive cash flow. I tried to grow too fast once by leasing a Lockheed Tristar from the start and the maintenance costs for the aircraft were higher than the profits the aircraft was bringing in each month so I ended up going bankrupt.

Take bonds. I took 10 million. Dont take them in the beginning and mid month, that'a when you need to pay wages and maintenance. Take it on 7-10th or after 17th until end of month. So when interests are charged, no problem to pay.

Then use max 70% to lease A320 or B734, use them on 2-3 citiea in permutation so your gates will be fully utilised. Ofcourse you need to find profitable and empty routes.

Once you hit more than 500k DOP, you can lease more planes, keep an eye your cash balance.

Do this in 5 months your cash would be more than 30 million.

Some players, as in real life, charge as much as possible at the start of a game. Don't worry about it you will soon catch most of them up. At first concentrate on aiming to be top in your chosen country, then in the region and take it from there. The games doesn't end until September.

Given that now I'm rank 3 on the list, I think I have a responsibility to explain.

There is really no cheat. It's just finding profitable and near range routes. For example, some B733s of mine make about $350k. But given that I'm going in the direction for quality rather than cheap AE money, do expect me out of the list soon...

At the beginning of the game I immediately set up IFE/IFS/Cabin Layout and proceeded to taking a $10million bond and leasing 5 Airbus A320-200's. Of course I'll get rid of my 737 immediately because of maintenance costs.
As Alfrenzo said, I'm also in it for quality not cheap AE money.

Honestly, I've set my IFE for my European A333s, so by then I should get out of that positioning XD

How to win:

1. Pick a good market.
2. Lease a bunch of 737s/A320s
3. Fill all routes out of your home city to max capacity
4. Get bigger aircraft
5. ????
6. PROFIT!

Now observing, I can conclude that at the begining of the game, the value of the company highly depends of the cash that it holds, is a direct proportion. That's why the ranking vary so much.

Until you buy assets your valuation is only cash on hand so in the beginning it's a roller coaster :)

I am at 18 mil dop. And growing. I believe my rank stays around 8-11 and own about 30 aircraft including 767's 757's and about 6 737's and a few a320's. I have also Played this game for quite a long time but have never been able to start a round from the first day this Is the first time I have. And I feel I am doing a pretty good job so far.
