Hi. I'm puzzled about why I am losing money from my airline over the last several months with all profitable routes and planes? They are all old, leased aircraft, but I thought costs were taken into account when calculating aircraft and route profits. And anyway, half the leasing costs were paid up front and only when I had cash available (except by mistake for one plane after which I let my balance rebuild - which it seemed to be happy to do in the first few months).

The "Daily Operating Profit" does not cover some monthly expenses, such as aircraft leasing, gate leasing, and income tax (which would be 0 in your case). If your DOP is not enough to cover those expenses, your cash flow will still be negative. You can see the above additional monthly costs on your finance page.

early on you need to keep the number of different aircraft you lease down to a minimum as there is a big fee payable for each type plus a much much smaller fee for each aircraft.
