Options for managing alliance no longer visible

So I recently created a new alliance (International Airlines Group), partially just for the experience as I never have before. Figured my airline would automatically be folded into the alliance, but it wasn't, so I requested to join my own alliance and approved it. Now, under the "Alliance Options" menu, the only options I have available are:

• View alliance route map
• View other alliances
• Leave the alliance

The option to send invites to other airlines seems to have disappeared, as if I'm no longer managing an alliance. I take it I can't add my own airline to my alliance then? I selected "leave the alliance" but then it says the alliance will be deleted because there are no other members. Am I missing something?

This sounds like some sort of glitch, your airline is always supposed to be automatically included in the alliance you create. Try leaving the alliance, which should delete it if you are the only member, and creating a new one.
