As you know there have been several airport manager role-plays that have been done over the years and I thought maybe it's time to revive it and do another!

Now the rules are similar to the old ones, and I've updated them and added some new ones.

Rules:

1. Choose a location that makes sense: as in you won't be bulldozing an entire city, suburb, neighborhood or national/state park to build the airport. You can measure distances within Google Maps to determine whether you'll have enough space to build your airport. (if a few buildings are in the way that's fine) In your design of the airport, look at real airports using mapping software to see their layouts, and look at the FAA guidelines for ideas.

2. Provide the details that are realistic in an airport's design and branding. You'll need a logo and gate map at the absolute bare minimum: You can also design ground transport facilities, route and destination maps, airline announcements, departure/arrival boards, timetables, renderings of your airport, and anything else to your heart's desire. (though these are only optional)

3. For an airline to begin service at your airport, you'll need at the bare minimum a route announcement. also, you can do a route map, departures board, etc. (these are optional)

4.No real airlines allowed. AE airlines (that you either created for the gallery or for the game) only. (except for cargo airlines that that's fine)

    COME MY BELOVED CHILDREN, COME AND POST!!!!

The LWD airport has noticed that most of its gates have been taken and they ask that others quickly buy now before other airlines do (or if airlines serving the airport increase their flights) :alarm:

also maybe a phase 2 might open later (!!cough!!) today. -cough :alarm:  :pepper:

As you know there have been several airport manager role-plays that have been done over the years and I thought maybe it's time to revive it and do another!

(though these are only optional)

3. For an airline to begin service at your airport, you'll need at the bare minimum a route announcement. also, you can do a route map, departures board, etc. (these are optional)

4.No real airlines allowed. AE airlines (that you either created for the gallery or for the game) only.

So...Can I DM you for a gate purchase?

I havent made different logos for the different Blue subsidiaries, so its all the american one. I have logos for Cheese and Joe, but I would need to upload them to my galley to get them here, just one sec...

Acctually as it turns out I do not have the logos for Joe and Cheese on my computer because they are technichally not my own. They are my 2 friends airlines that I have shared ownership of. I think you can get them by going to my profile page, friends, then clicking on them and saving the logos from their my airlines page?

Also, the Blue Airlines group is in the Cheese Air World Alliance, so they share a lounge. And can you call the lounge the Cheddar Elite Lounge?
