More realistic IFS/IFE

What if the Airline Empires IFE/IFS system was more accurate and you were able to actually choose what you serve. like instead of just 3 options for each meal and 6 for snacks. And a (drinks option) was added. and the max amount of snacks/drinks you could choose was extended to 9 each. And maybe make a database that has a list of snack/drink options and the cost next to them instead of the just 1-5 star rating. like a bag of chips might be abt $.75 cents - $1 dollar whilst a 16oz soda can might cost abt $1.15. Meanwhile the meals option will have a secondary option called: Snack-packs that a lot of airlines offer today. maybe a max of 3 snack-boxes. the rest of the meals options would stay the same. 

Also, what if you could choose the quality of the blankets, pillows, and headphones that you offered inflight. like the 1-5 star cost option. (not all headphones cost less than $3 dollars to make.) in fact some of them can cost hundreds of dollars. and maybe add an earbud option and a headphone as some airlines offer both. (maybe the earbuds might cost the $3 dollars to make) 

Overall I think this would make the game much more personalized than the old 3 meals, 6 snacks with no personalization involved. would anyone else like to see this happen? because I would! 

Customization like that with the way ae is now would be annoying to play, and is pretty unnecessary. 

There should be at least some modification. No one buys a meal for $30 on a flight. Maybe hot and cold options. Maybe drink options.

"Realistic" is unfortunately not really part of AE's vocabulary.

sadly it is true but overall I think that if something like this was implemented it would be more hands on than spending like 2 minutes working on an IFS and instead work on a more thoughtful and more complicated IFS.

I’d like to see a menu of already set options you can select from. A similar approach to seat layout would also be helpful.

saving the settings as a overall default would be interesting. but maybe it's for a specific airline or maybe brand so you'll select the meal service and than they would ask if you want to set it as a default and then it saves as a meal option on that world. (setting it to all worlds might be too difficult  ) 

With the IFE, I would like to see the ability to charge for separate functions rather than the system as a whole. So charge for WiFi and make the video, audio, flight tracker free or make the flight tracker free, the video/audio $5 and the WiFi $10 and even set it either as a set fee or per hour or something

that could be interesting.

I have been testing different grades for each
It is time consuming to set them up, but once in place it certainly seems to improve the routes and revenue

IFS :
Economy - basic, premium, expensive
Business - premium, expensive
First - Free

IFE :
Regional - No media required, all others grade 3
Continent (route up to two or three hours) - Basic media, all others grade 3
Inter-Continental - Media grade 5, all others minimum grade 3
