in 1998 you could enforce political restrictions on this airport meaning you can't fly to Kai Tak Airport.

It makes since that this should be added. Berlin Tempelhof, Schonefeld, and Tegel are all still here.

The traditional rules regarding addition of historical airports are very arbitrary. This has been suggested before, as have the other airports in the list, but have not been pursued and will not likely be pursued. It's a shame considering other historical airports do exist (especially Tempelhof) but generally their purpose is limited anyways.

but Kai Tak Airport would make the game more interesting (especially when the new Hong Kong airport was made only 20 years ago)

Closed airports are extremely unlikely to be added, with those closed gradually being removed, Murcia San Javier for example.

The current data team is half dead and half picky...unfortunately I highly doubt it'll return
