I want to make a spreadsheet to manage my airline, listing all the routes i have, which planes fly then and the amount of frequencies, among other things.
One of the things i wanna do is have it calculate the flight time for me somehow, maybe inserting the aircraft's speed, and the route distance, so i dont need to manually open each route to see the flight time for each aircraft. Is there a way?

You can see the flight time of your aircraft from the aircraft details page by clicking on the other tab.

No, they asked about how to do it without having to open each ROUTE, not each AIRCRAFT. The reason I suggest to look at the aircraft is because it tells you how much total time it spends across all routes, which solves the problem of having to open up each route individually which can be tedious.

Actually I (the OP) asked how to do it with a Excel formula on a spreadsheet, by feeding it both the aircraft speed and the route distance, but i suspect the speed we see ingame is not the average speed, but rather a maximum speed without considering slower phases like take offs and landings, do i'd like to know how the flight time is calculated

Round Trip time is just 2 * (distance/speed + turn time)

Tried this, didnt give me the correct result.
Got one solution from Reddit. Its (distance/speed*FACTOR) where "factor" is a number between 2.3 and 2.4 that varies for each aircraft and sometimes even for the same aircraft... So this "factor" corresponds to something in the actual game formula that put there and we dont know what is. It may be taking into consideration that the shown speed is not "average" speed and that the plane varies in speed along the route (take off, landing, etc). So yeah. This method works but its not perfect.
Also, this calculates FLIGHT TIME. Then we add TURN TIME to the result to have BLOCK TIME.

No idea what you're talking about.
Flight time in this game is just calculated as 2 * distance / speed without accounting for taxi/takeoff/landing etc. The two is there because it is a round trip.
I recommend double-checking your calculations, here are some examples:
Concorde PVG-BKK (1800 miles, 1354 mph)
1800/1354 * 2 = 2.66 hours ≈ 2 hours 40 minutes
744 PVG-BKK (1800 miles, 567 mph)
1800/567 * 2 = 6.35 hours ≈ 6 hours 21 minutes
744 PEK-EWR (6813 miles, 567 mph)
6813/567 * 2 = 24.03 hours ≈ 24 hours 2 minutes

Ok, tried again and found out 2 things:
1. The speed shown in the buy screen is given in knots, while the speed given in the aircraft data page is in mph, and they are the same value. I was at first converting knots to mph which gave me a different speed value
2. That being said, this is still not 100% accurate. I tried as follows:
Boeing 727-200Adv/JT8D-17R (542mph)
BSB-MAO (1210mi): Excel - 04h27, Game - 04h30
BSB-GRU (530mi): Excel - 01h57, Game - 01h58
BSB-REC (1028mi): Excel - 03h47, Game - 03h50
Now sometimes the FT given in the route screen is slightly different from the one in the aircraft details page (BSB-MAO for example, shows a Block time of 05h38, instead of 05h40 from the route screen). Even in this case it still assumes a FT of 04h28, 1 minute longer than the one got in the Excel calculations, so i'm not sure what to make of it. But you went in the right direction, not sure what i'm still doing wrong

Ok so after further testing, i found out the FT shown in the flight creation screen takes into account the "default" avg speed of every aircraft, not counting the speed variances the various engine models bring. So i went ahead and created some flights (6 in total) with the same aircraft to test, and after calculating all but one gave FTs 1 minute shorter than whats shown, as checked through the aircraft details screen. I suppose the distance given in the route screen is rounded or something... But adding a further minute to the formula should put me in the safe range for calculating how many aircraft i need across all routes
About the fuel flow, i fly from Brazil, a huge country, so i take into consideration payload range as well as fuel flow... Like, a middle ground considering the two

Yes, make sure you are rounding up when appropriate.
From what I've seen, lower fuel flow also equals higher payload range, with a few exceptions. (Although if you are in Brazil, you might also want to look at runway requirements since CGH exists)
