Rule against market overflow

Is there any?

Route with 506 Y demand, dude with a huge spamline puts in 5801 seats in the market. This should be considered an offense, but more importantly, is any rule even enforced anymore?

EDIT: A lot of seats for less than 5 dollars, of course

There are sadly no way to combat this. it can be annoying and several people have requested for a all spam-line world. but that won't happen ant time soon. it is really annoying and maybe we can democratically solve this. 

I don't understand why people have a problem with this. Airlines in real life could very well do this if they wanted to, and many in South Korea and other markets do.

You'll find that, in most cases, it's literally against both the specified game rules. Sometimes it helps to check the rulebook before you make comments like that.

That's a lie. You are allowed to flood the routes as long as it's 1 airlines you owned. If you use 2 different airlines of yours, then it became illegal. But as long as you only have 1 airlines operating there it's fine.

Also, if you read the rules page, look at the bottom. Using game-breaking techniques, such as spamlining, does put you at risk of having your account deleted. It is cheating. It is against the rules, no matter how you look at it. Just because the word isn't mentioned, doesn't put it within the rules of the game.

With due respect, but spamlining is not a game breaking techniques. Game breaking techniques refers to cheating, such as using editors to change the value of the aircraft, demand, etc.

Spamlining didn't break the game mechanic because the mechanic is already there. The players didn't change or modify any data to their advantages. Unless you can proof that these spamliners are cheating, nobody would get their account deleted. Let's not spread false information on this website please.

No, it's inherently game-breaking because it's impossible to recover - and thus impossible to play - if you're the victim of spamlining. Regardless on if it's using editors to cheat values or if it's exploiting mechanics, it's against the rules. There isn't any argument to be had.

No, you're making things up, nothing you said makes any sense. Spamliners didn't exploiting mechanics. Ordering 2000 planes is allowed, putting 3000 seats on a route with 300 seats demand is allowed. Creating 50 hubs is allowed.

you and the "Emperor" might not be cheating, but there's an obvious bug in the game with the connecting demand. when you set every airport as a hub you are basically magically making people appear out of thin air.

another obvious bug is you can charge $1 and have Scam food/sevices/legroom and people will fly. you lower the price by $10 and then they fly regardless of the spam meals that are $200 dollars for a bag of chips. (what are they made of, gold?) if I was flying from JFK - LHR for example, why would I choose the $15 dollar cheaper option when the legroom is horrible, & food is like $2000! while the other one has free meals, excellent legroom 32-34" economy and maybe free entertainment. i would definitely fly option 2.

these bugs are the obvious problems with the game. maybe someone did change the game to their favor, but i do know that there are obvious problems that do need to be fixed.
