I have seen that many players have liveries. How do you make them?

In making liveries, it isn't just plop the logo in tail, add some tail-to-fuselage transition and colorful colors and done!....it's takes time and even some research.

What I do if I where you:
- Do a bit research for the basics, logo, font, name, and overall design culture.

- Choose a country that makes sense in your preliminary idea (ie Canada has Maple Leaf, and US has tons of notable icons, not just the star and the red and blue accent)

-Actually, try researching the country just in case to see how their aviation market evolved

- Make a rough sketch

- Add, repair, and re-do details as much as you want. (Ie Appropriate Color Tone, Logo edit, font skewing, etc.)

-And when satisfied, you are basically done. But don't be afraid to ask question beforehand.

What software do you recommend using?
