You seem to have started ok - when your next 2 planes arrive get them flying as soon as possible. Then your money worries will ease a lot.

I've only been playing a week or so, but I'm also on S4E and I'm British Airways (ranked 4th). What I did was start with the A320 and lease as many other A320s as possible, then put them on high-demand short routes out of London. Cut salaries to the industry average and downsize staff numbers, put up prices by ~$30, then install a few First and Business-class seats and pretty soon I was making a few million. Soon as I could lease another A320 I did so, then I moved onto 747-400s and 747-400Ds for high-demand long-haul and medium-haul respectively. Now I'm making $115m/day, got 200+ aircraft and it's going well.

I think I got lucky because noone else is based at Heathrow (unusually) but if you pick a good city that noone really thinks about (my other airline is in Zurich) you can do well. Like I said, I'm pretty new and I'm still making lots of errors, but maybe this gives you a plan to work with. Can also message me if you have other issues :)

-Don't even go to the new plane market until you got over 300M in cash. Lease used A320 and B757. Go on google maps and look up large cities that people tend to forget. Scam the frick out of your passengers with IFE and IFS. I am the Spanish Inquisition on S4E, you may have seen me jump in ranking from #104 to #11 in just 2 days. It appears that you got some competition in Britain, though.

lease as many used aircrafts as possible and use them on long distance routes. They make a lot of money. Only downside is that the amount of frequencies will be lower cause its a longer distance and it takes more time :)
