I was wondering what influences the on time performance in bars at the bottom of a route. Is it Dependant on the airport and how many other airlines are flying there? Because I notice mine bars on all of mine are in the middle, when I hover over it the number is always around 40-50.

I don't think it depends on which airport you are flying in and out of in. What matters are these :):

  • Employee moral-HIre more and/or increase pay for your employees as they will improve it
  • Not using high utilization. Generally I follow a rule, if it's under 30 hours I don't use that aircraft.
  • Some aircraft give high on time performance, others not so much. For example, a 777-200 gets 70-71 (borderline of green and yellow) if you fly once a week, includes if you fly more than once.

IIRC that's one of the things that's affected by the number of spare employees you have in relevant areas - ground crew, aircrew, mechanics, I'm probably forgetting one.

The key to this game is to experiment and work it out, because a lot of this stuff isn't clearly written down anywhere even if you search the forums and read everything vaguely related. Let us know what you find out :)
