While I was browsing for Jetabout templates (just for the intrigue it brought), I stumbled upon this website called airlines-manager.com, which is also a free airline simulator in the same vein as Airline Empires, but with an active development team, a company backing its progress, and an extensive (albeit French) community on their forums. The major difference that I see is mostly that it has somewhat of a more graphic-based interface. They do have an English subforum, though it's quite sparse, and the game itself can have a few, though not major, translation problems regarding French. Otherwise, however, it seems like a great alternative that we could try.

If you want to find me, I'm og_EKPO on their forums, http://forum.airline...forum.php?f=161, and my airline on the actual game, called Airlines Manager Professional, is called Manchurian Airlines.

I tried this and others like airlinemogul.com and AE is hands down the best, the community is large and active and game play is super easy on mobile while on the go. Just my 2cents

Ah. I tried it but I hated it.

And the lack of an English-speaking community throws me off.

I would say its expensive to play and enjoy the game. It also looks like ponzi-type business of at least two layers of coins and AM+. You need both to play effectively. Thank you, but no.

Tried it also in Mobile, slow growth (I had only a 14 Q400s in a few months real life), also it is a freemium (There are 'Premium' currencies, IAPs and Ads), AE is still the best.

I hooked again to airline empire after quite a while not playing it, but if you're interested, there's another game called "The Airline Project", it's still in pre-alpha though, so bugs here and there are expected, and it's free (you can choose to donate the devs if you want). So far I'm liking it, so maybe you guys will too, who knows...

I’d recommend Airline enterprise more. Everyone speaks English, active development, and more realism than AE.
