A Brand New Alliance - SkyRoute

Times are always changing and so is air travel. We belive that the airlines and alliances of today have failed to deliver in terms of progress of the flight experience offered to the customer. Thefore SkyRoute has been born.

SkyRoute will launch its operations on 22.9.2014 and will be active in R7 and Rα upon launch. There will be two divisions of our alliance in each of the worlds

we´re active in (Executive division will be the alliance for flagship carriers and Standard will be serving the LCCs). We might also consider forming alliances in other game worlds if our members will wish so. A helicopter branch of our alliance in the Rα is also being considered and will be formed as soon as our members will express desire to form such airlines.

SkyRoute will also offer it´s members an alliance forum with 4 different subforums - the Alliance News subforum, the Where Do We Fly? subforum with lists of airlines currently active under the SkyRoute branding, then of course an Application subforum. The last one, The Members Lounge will be password protected and therefore exclusive to members. This subforum will contain new information about the alliances internal news, issues, requests, and exclusive content as well as a dedicated sub-forum for off topic conversation.

When it comes to applications and minimal requirements, the first, basic, and the most important thing is that we at SkyRoute belive in the basic principles of democracy and therfore any applications, issues, etc. will be first put to a vote, where every member will have the right to tender a vote, and if there are no special circumstances the issue will be dealt in the way that the majority wants to. As far as minimal requirements go the Executive branch will require the maximal usage time of 17 and half hours while the Standard one will require 18 and 3/4 or less for every aircarft type you own (this does NOT apply on the usage of Helicopters, Regional Turboprops, and Jets). As per Cabin Layout there is no limit on the LCC airlines and the Executive ones will have to have the max of 95% of the maximal certified Y seats.

There's so many forum alliances now it's getting silly  

I personally don't see room for any more...

In a couple months I'm sure a few with die off. This is if this alliance actually gets enough members for a forum. Remember Envoy .

I agree it´ll be hard but we at SkyRoute aim to recruit more of the inexperienced (yet) with providing them with everything they need and a bit more, combined with the luxury of being in an alliance. (Franchises with established airlines that our members can take over, I can also design a logo upon request within the alliance, then we are open to sharing our knowledge regadring profitability, and so on.)

I still think that this is a good name and branding for an alliance. I'm still confused as to who on Earth thought that Dawn | Dusk was a name for an alliance, for goodness sake.

Frankly anything lower than Azure on the list is unneeded. We don't have that many active members for these alliances.

Just putting in my own thought. Also, the idea of a two part alliance has been around since at least 2011
