I have always used Firefox and I think I'm happy with it right now. Google Chorme collects data on your web activity, and when I once tried to use Internet Explorer I almost got a virus [I do belive I went to the AE website - but when using Firefox it's all right]. I also used Opera once just because it had the cool feature of browsing thru your favorite websites on the home screen, but than Firefox introduced the same thing so I switched back cause I also like that Firefox has it's own built in "anti-virus" software that scans files after downloading them [But i'm not sure how it works and if it's effective]

Just to note a few things:

Google Chorme collects data on your web activity

You can opt not to send Google telemetry data (both in terms of usage and web searches). On the installation options, uncheck "Help make Google Chrome better by automatically sending usage statistics and crash reports to Google.", then open chrome://settings/ and scroll down to Privacy. Uncheck "Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors" and "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar or the app launcher search box".

I also like that Firefox has it's own built in "anti-virus" software that scans files after downloading them [But i'm not sure how it works and if it's effective]

As far as I know, Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Google Chrome also offer this functionality (SmartScreen Filter, Safe Browsing respectively). Moreover, Google Chrome uses sandboxing to prevent one website from "poisoning" the entire browser.

Google Chrome is the absolute winner. In school, IE takes about apsis times longer to load a page than Chrome

IE worked fine for many years, eventually switched to Chrome cause it looked nicer . When I load up IE nowadays it takes forever and is laggy, I swear something changed it couldn't have just been perspective.
