Have you heard the story about the violin being sold at auction that looked so crappy and worthless that they couldn't even get a starting bid for it. Then an old man got up from the audience, took the violin, and started to play it. When the audience heard the beautiful music it made when played in the hands of an expert who knew and understood the instrument, the bidding started in a frenzy and it sold for a record price.

It's just a fable, but the point is if you know and understand the aircraft, and how this game works, there's no such thing as "worst aircraft".

In regards to the worst I think its the Concorde and Tu-144. They only exist as a show off plane and won't make any money at all, at least a An-2, King Air or even Beechcraft Bonanza can fly into rather small and short airfields, a Bell 214 can still use a helipad but the Concorde and Tu-144 eat up fuel like no tomorrow, has less then 150 seats which is not good for aircraft meant to fly long ranges and requires massive runways. Nice plane to show off how much money your carrier makes but not good for actually make jack s***.

Concorde.  Tu-144.  Tu-104.  Fuel-thirsty 1st gen jets such as the 707-220/420 or DC-8-20/30/40.  Hard to make significant profits with these!

You'll always find a better option than the A340-500.
