i dont understand the thing about political restrictions. when i want to create routes, i often get this message:

You have no flights on this route.

You cannot fly this route due to political restrictions.

Can someone explain this to me? Will that change with the time? or can i see somewhere between which countries i can not create routes?

Thanks

Let's say you fly from North Korea to South Korea but you cant because the two nations hate each other. So that's what political restrictions are. If you go into an open world, like O1 or O2, you can avoid PR.

European open skies only allows flights within Europe. So yo can fly from Berlin to Madrid or Paris and also from Paris to Madrid but you can only fly from Germany to USA, not for example from Madrid or Paris

Which country did you start in? You can only make flights out of that country. I assume you started in Germany, so you can fly from anywhere in Germany to somewhere else, but not start in Germany and work out of the UK, for example.

See http://www.airline-e...-agreements-r13

However, you still cannot fly from another country (not your home country) covered by an open skies agreement to a country outside the agreement. For example, an airline based in an EU country can fly between two other EU countries but cannot fly from another EU country to a non-EU country.

What Yuxi said.

As an airline within the European Union you're allowed to fly from any airport inside the EU to any other airport within the EU (as of the year 2000 in game) but you're only allowed to fly to airports outside the EU from an airport within your home country.

So because I'm based in Vancouver, I can't do a hub and spoke system, with a second hub in mexico? I was hoping to springboard out to the other South American cities... the first place I checked was Mexico City to Kingston Jamaica. But I guess I can't do that because I am canadian based?

Or will opening a hub at the Airport in Mexico City let me springboard?

Thanks for the help, in advance.

If you're based in Egypt then unfortunately you can only fly out of Egypt.

I'm based in the UK (London Heathrow) I was planning to open a hub in Dallas so that i can fly to the American cities. Is that possible? (I already prepared a lot of money like 100mil)

In a Realistic world (R1, R4, etc.) that is not possible. In an open world (O1, etc.) it is. Special and Sandbox worlds I have no idea about, I'm afraid. You can probably check yourself, if you can't it won't charge you any money to do so it'll just tell you no.

No because it's not in your home country, and neither is it part of the EU Open Skies agreement. You can open another hub elsewhere in the EU but not outside the EU.

But I can't fly from Paris Charles de Gaulle or any other airports in Europe. Is that because of Brexit? And what's the purpose of opening a hub in the EU if you can't fly out of it?
