I've just noticed that the gate costs are unreasonably high for some airports. For instance, Bologna airport in Italy (BLQ) has 8 million pax per year but the gate cost is $800,000 per gate, whereas Boston Logan (BOS) has 36 million pax per year but the gate cost is around $300,000 per gate. Is there a reason for this?
Will this be fixed?
I am Paying Crazy amounts for Gates in Dubai
Building a terminal at CLT (Charlotte), I have 4 gates currently, got a quote for 6. This is for world R0. The below figures are common for terminals. One fixed cost then a way wrong gate cost. 2 * $4m isn't even anywhere close to $22m. I accidentally wasted a ton of money building a terminal at LGA.
Building construction fees:$38,105,216
Gate construction fees (2 * $3,672,792):$22,036,752
Total Upfront Cost:$60,141,968
