In my opinion I think the idea of sandbox is rushing and trying to cover most routes possible before other people fly them. How to do this? Buy all used aircraft, cheaper, and you get them right there (hence rushing)

It is a good practise to scrap your planes especially when you are not in an immediate need of cash. That way you prevent your competitors and spamlines to get their hands to your old fleet and increase their capacities. You also help virtual AE pax not to fly on 55 years old 737s.

 

Personally I use this strategy quite often.

A spamline can be described as "A god with infinite money" so I don't think giving him 20 737s is gonna help the cause when he has 1.2k planes.

I think 10 min a day would be perfect for what you're suggesting since you don't get bored waiting for deliveries and maybe make the starting budget 20 million or so, since 100 million makes the game to easy in my opinion

I suppose if you lower the economy seats on a modified IFE there will be more legroom, I'm not sure though.

On-time performance depends on how much you pay your staff as of I know, other factors may contribute to this aswell.

Hubs give you connecting passengers, these will only appear if you cover more demand than there really is. Ex: Let's say you have to add 5 flights to cover the daily demand and you do 7, those 2 flights will be around 30% passengers and 70% connecting passengers from your hub. Connecting passengers only make you half the money that a normal passenger would make so connecting passengers I sometimes define as "Seat Fillers" . Regarding the second question someone else can help you out since I have no idea.

I've just made "Bankruptcy Airlines" guess where it's based.

In my eyes, probably the following:

-Minimum wage for staff ($7)

-Maximum Daily Utilization

-Spam IFS/IFE

-Spamming Routes (i.e. 20000 daily seats for route w/ 200 daily seats)

-Hubs everywhere

Put a bunch of planes with small turn time and decent capacity on a route with all max ours of the aircraft put into that route, if you get more frequency you'll eventually own the market.
