Posted by DRW.416 on 02 October 2020 - 03:23 AM in Logo / Livery Requests

Good day! Have one already? If not yet, you can use this temporarily while waiting. I'll work on it more, especially a new logo.

No problem, glad to help. If you have trouble with the logo's appearance (transparent pixels), here's another version.

#284389 Hamburg International Livery Request

Posted by DRW.416 on 29 September 2020 - 06:58 AM in Logo / Livery Requests

Tried a clean(ish) design. Sorry if I removed the 'International', I thought it looked better without, like how Qatar removes the 'airways' in its livery.

Hope it helps, but do wait for designs from others!

#284366 Boeing 737NG Production

https://www.boeing.c...ders-deliveries

Double-checked their list to be certain. Their only remaining undelivered NG airframes according to them are the 737-800A, which are all P-8 airframes. There are, as mentioned by FlyEvans, undelivered commercial variants - being three 737-700W and two 737-800 airframes , all five of which are to unidentified/undisclosed customers. For what purpose they serve and to who they'll go to, I don't know, but they're no longer in the major stream of constant orders and deliveries. They may be special orders.

So yes, Boeing hasn't stopped producing the jets if those are considered, but with the last disclosed major airline orders being four 737-900ER airframes by Alaska Airlines in August 2017, and the last two 737-800 disclosed airline airframes delivered January this year to China Eastern, you can say for the purposes of AE the 2020 end production should be realistic.

#284361 Boeing 737NG Production

Good day! As far as I know Boeing stopped producing the passenger NG in 2019, but last delivery was 2020. The only NG airframes being built are for the military P-8 Poseidon, the Wedgetail AWACS (for the UK I believe), and maybe the BBJ. So the 2020 end production date should be correct.

#284334 Why can I open a hub in New Zealand as an Australian airline?

Posted by DRW.416 on 25 September 2020 - 04:44 PM in New Players and Questions

I'm guessing it's been implemented anyways. The game does use very recent annual passenger figures regardless of the game world date, so the Open Skies agreement probably also has been implemented between the two countries regardless if it's before 1983.

#284332 How does allience benifit your airline in AE?

Posted by DRW.416 on 25 September 2020 - 01:12 PM in Alliances

You still do, as long as the airport you're operating the flight(s) from is one of your hubs.

#284135 What is your favorite aircraft based on aesthetics alone?

Posted by DRW.416 on 22 August 2020 - 03:46 PM in Real World Aviation

Aesthetics? Concorde. If prototypes are allowed, the Boeing SST. Other than that, the 747-300/-400/-8. For an old warbird I dig the Reggiane Re.2005 for looks. Jet warbirds, a lot unfortunately, Draken, Mirage III (especially in metal finish), F-14, F-15 and any Flanker.
