Hi. I just started my new group of airlines in R-Delta, Americas Airways. I would like a livery. I would like it to be like the Carribean Airlines livery. Also, I don't mean America's Airways, as in beloning to America, I mean Americas Airways, as in all of the Americas.

One thing I would like to see added to that section is the drop down box where you choose the airport, putting your hubs at the top, or at least ordering them alphabetically. As someone who plays on a phone/tablet 80% of the time, once I have a large airline, this gets to be a pain in the butt. 

Having a flagship status isn't fair. Because the giant mega-airlines would automatically get it. That means the same airlines being run by the same people will ALWAYS have the status. You can figure out which airlines/people would 'earn' this by looking at the awards they've won. So, you can see that if somebody always does REALLY well, guess who's always going to operate 1+ flagship carriers?

Well, there's 196 countries in the world, and in my opinion, it would encourage people to start in other countries, would it not? The average world has 300 players. A lot of people could get it.

Largest airline? No way they already have so much money. Maybe if you were the sole airline in a country then Yes, but you would have to meet certain Quality requirements.

 

For small countries only. Probably, ones that only have one airline.

Perhaps there could be a system where the largest airline in a country could get financial aid (interest free loans etc) from "the government" of that country. This would, at least in my opinion, convince people to start in smaller countries, and not always in large countries. For example, if I was the largest airline in Namibia, and I ran into some financial hard times, I could get a bailout. I do think that you would only be able to use it below a certain point, like 10 million in cash on hand. Then, it couldn't be abused by big airlines, and would be there for the litlle ones, Just my 2 cents.

So if I were to run a perfectly accurate Ryanair to the frequency and utilization of the actual airline, that is realism (or not having a life). But somebody could create an airline called 'British Airways' have a ridiculous config, 20 hours utilization, but offer slightly better IFS and frequency gaining a slightly better reputation. Who would get the extra pax then? Not so plain and simple.

Realistically as in not having planes running 20 hours a day at full capacity. Reputation would probably have to change so that legroom would be a slightly larger factor than it is right now. 

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I think that pax should choose the airline who has better legroom on a route, especially if the prices are very similar or exactly the same. Seriously, who would rather fly Ryanair than BA if they had the exact same price on a route? It's kind of ridiculous. This may have been suggested before, but people who run their airlines realistically should get more pax. It's plain and simple. 

I was wondering if there was ever a option considered for comparing aircraft like under buy new aircraft have checkboxes next to all the aircraft. click which ones you want to compare then have you choose your engines and then have it give you a side by side comparison of range fuel flow runway length, cost... you get the picture. just a way for newer airlines who are not familiar with all the planes to be a little less overwhelmed by the large amounts of choices.

Good idea! It would have stopped me from buying VC-10's.

I just tried to lease some new aircraft and it wouldn't let me lease them with normal money, only coins i.e. down payment was 20 coins or so and no option to pay it with "regular" money. Also, is there really a point to the missiles?

Do you need to have an airline in the current game cycle to be part of the reset? If you do have an airline in the current cycle, will it transfer post reset (yes, dumb question...but no such thing as a dumb question....). You get what I am saying. Thanks.

Hubs actually provide a bonus though; if the mega airline is undercut, it will keep the route alive on connecting passengers. Not having it be a hub is a benefit.

Then you have airlines like SWA with huge operations in an area, but not officially a hub.

No, it would (hopefully) stop them expanding so fast by making them pay the hub opening fee of one million or so.

My idea is to force airlines to open a hub if they want to control more than ten gates. I've seen a couple of airlines in my world who use over twenty gates at an airport and do not declare it a hub. It's basically like if Delta didn't call its ATL operations a hub. It's ridiculous. And honestly, what airline controls that many gates without any connecting pax? It's not realistic. Maybe it would slow the growth of mega airlines a bit, too. Also, it would be handy for people starting halfway through a round. They could see how many airlines actually have large operations at an airport.

I haven't really had time to manage this airline. It's got about five hundred million dollars in cash. Last time I checked it I had 1st place market share at Kiev. Post your id and I'll share it with whoever responds first.
